Celebrate Easter in the Sacred Heart of Jesus

Sacred Heart Parish Picnic

Our council is supporting the parish event with cooking and service of burgers and hot-dogs.

-Food Preparation will start on Saturday morning - Contact Bro Bob Svoboda to help.

-Lunch Service will commence promptly after mass discharges at 12:30Pm on Sunday.

We need help all morning to arrange the pits and prepare the serving line, Food service continues until food is finished. Note that we are serving 750 Burgers and 750 hot dogs.

Support Council Growth

“Our Council 7445 is in the process of forming our own Exemplification Team. The Degree Exemplifications have gone through some major changes over the past several years and the 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Degrees are all received at one Exemplification. There are 6 members of the Exemplification Team that perform the Exemplification. The New Exemplification takes 30-40 minutes. Family members, guests, and current Knights are invited/encouraged to attend the New Exemplification.

Our goal is to have 10-12 Knights on the Exemplification Team so we can have some regulars as well as substitutes/alternates that can fill in when needed. All roles are reading parts, so there is no need to memorize anything. If you are interested in joining the Exemplification Team or learning more about the New Exemplification, please contact Brother Marty Gibula at 713-823-9182 or attend an information and practice meeting this Saturday, April 30^th, 9:00 – 10:00am in the Mary & Martha Room of the Apartment Building.

It is time to get active again, become more visible, and increase Our Council’s membership.”

Council Calendar Update

Council Business meeting - Attendance is Mandatory as several urgent and important matters must be addressed at this meeting.

Saturday Apr-30

-Monthly rosary for families

Please join brother knights to lead the family rosary prayers after the Saturday morning mass. Mass starts at 8:00am. Prayers will be in the church immediately after mass ends

-Exemplification Team meeting and rehearsal

Our Council Exemplification team will meet after morning mass and Rosary on Saturday for training on the new exemplification and prepare for our first local degree ceremonies which will ne performed in May 2022.

Parish Marian Procession

This year's Marian procession shall be held on Saturday May-07 after the 5pm mass.

There will be no road closure.

Brother Knights are needed to help with the float and bearing flags.

Council 7445 Memorial and Thanksgiving Mass

Note: We continue to support our parish's faith formation program with "Protect our Children" activities by providing patrols during CCE every Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening. Please join us in this service every week.
