Pro Life Activity

Saving Babies

The 40 Days for Life Fall prayer vigils help save lives by praying for an end to abortion within local communities.

Our parish is invited to participate in the vigil at the Planned Parenthood facility near the UH campus in Houston on Saturday, October 23.

Lark Maresh is our parish Pro Life coordinator and she will have sign up sheets and all pertinent information after Masses this coming weekend, 10-16/17.

Please prayerfully consider spending any time that you can at the vigil, whether it's 15 minutes or an hour, your presence there will make a difference.

Having participated for several years, I urge you to attend. If you cannot be there in person, consider praying the rosary that day for an end to the brutal procedure of abortion.

Military Projects

Honoring Those Who Protect Our Freedom

Our Fall campaign to support our troops and their families has started and will run through December. Please consider a donation to this project which is now in its 5th year in the parish. All donations should be brought to the church office with check being made out to KC Council 7445. The money collected will go to support Trees for Troops (Christmas trees for troops and their families, $50/tree), Frontline Faith (Providing mp3 players to deployed troops with spiritual content including prayers, $24/player) and Wreaths Across America (wreaths on graves of veterans, $15/wreath). Contribute what you can, whether it is $15 or $50 you will be honoring those who make our great country the land of the free because of the brave.
