Service Opportunities - Help Needed Urgently

Mary, Mother of God
Crowning and Procession

Please join us on Saturday May 1st for a procession in celebration of our Blessed Mother and Mother of God, Mary most holy.
Procession will follow immediately after the 5pm mass, along our customary route around the campus

Help is needed with closing off the path, directing vehicles to parking spaces, and removing the barricades as the procession makes it way around the campus.
Brother Paul Foley has volunteered to lead this activity and will need at least two more brothers to help.
Please contact me by email is you wish to volunteer for any part of the procession

Texas State Convention - Houston 2021

The Galveston-Houston Diocese of Knights is hosting the State convention this year. As such, volunteers are needed. The following is a list of times and jobs that would very much help out. Please consider giving a bit of your time. The success of the convention (that is, how the "behind the scenes" work comes off) will reflect on our local Knights' organization.

The following is a list of what help is needed:

Friday at 4 PM for setup

Dinner at 5

Bar tenders 5 to 11 PM (no money involved, beer being given away)

Saturday - 10:30 AM, lunch setup

Please Contact DD Mike Appling (832-945-2060) for more details if you can help.

On Sunday, May 23, the Needville Council will host a drive thru grilled pork chop meal at their hall. The meal will include buttered potatoes, pinto beans, coleslaw with a slice of pickle. We expect to sell 1000 plates at $12 per plate. Serving will be from 10:30 AM till sold out. We expect to sell out by noon.

We will need a total of 60 Knights to do this benefit. The Needville council will handle the cooking and manage the drive thru traffic line. Our Council and the others are to provide help to make and deliver the plates. We will need to be at the Needville KC hall by 10:00 AM. Please let Stan Hruska (call or text 713-385-0365) know if you can help.
