Condolences It is with great sadness to inform you of the passing of Brother Ricardo Rodriguez's mother, Fortunata. Please keep Brother Ricardo and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Parish Picnic Details Sunday, April 22nd - 12:30 pm to 4 pm at Sacred Heart Church An afternoon of food, fun, family and faith! Free admission! Hamburgers and hot dogs prepared by KCs! Games, inflatables, popcorn, snow cones and more! Entertainment provided by Sacred Heart Music Ministry! Please bring cookies or brownies to share! Food Prep / Set Up / Picnic Table Assembly to take place on Saturday, 4/21 following morning Mass (9 am) until approximately 3 pm at the FLC. Any help will be appreciated - come when you can. Help needed on Sunday, 4/22 from 10 am to 6 pm to assist with Cooking, Serving and Clean Up. Again, you do not need to commit to the entire time to help - come out and join us when you can. State Convention Welcome Party Invitation Come One- Come All! Night Welcome Party held in Downtown's Beautiful Discovery Green Park, directly across from our State Convention Hotel, Hilton of the Americas. April 27th - 6 pm to 11 pm Houston's Convention Committee will be celebrating the richness of the diverse cultures of our own Galveston-Houston Archdiocese. There will be music of many genres, entertainment, and an array of foods from many cultures. Feel free to don your favorite cultural outfit/dress. (Italian, Asian,Polish, Czech, Cuban, etc.) Awards for the best dressed will be given out! The cost is only $5 per person, and children are invited! The fun begins at 6 pm and goes on until 11 pm. You can pay at the door. You don't want to miss out on this awesome event! It's gonna be a lot of fun!!!!!!!!! |
First Holy Communion SK's - Sacred Heart Church will be holding two Masses for First Holy Communion at 2 pm: Sunday,
4/29 and Sunday, 5/06. A 4th Degree Turnout request has been made
for both Masses. If able to assist in one or both masses please
let me know. Let's ensure a very special day for our youth
