Council 7445 CALENDAR Please check out our Council's Upcoming Events listed below and help out when you can. Thank You! Through our practice of charity and fraternity, we are called to bring the joy of the Gospel to others. Tue., January 23rd Business Meeting - CCE Bldg (open to all active Knights in good standing). 6:45 pm Meal/Social, 7:30 Meeting. Sat., Jan 27th & Sun., Jan 28th We will be taking Super Bowl BBQ Pre-Sale Orders after Masses this weekend. We will also be holding a Recruiting Drive.
Please plan to come out to the plaza and assist us after the Mass you
attend. All help will be greatly appreciated. Fri., February 2nd Clergy Appreciation Night reminder for those that already registered to attend. Sat., February 3rd Brother Fr. Thomas' Ordination Celebration and Dinner after 5:30 pm Mass in the Family Life Center. Meat will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Sat., Feb 3rd & Sun., Feb 4th Super Bowl Sunday BBQ Prep and Cook (Cook Team C). Upcoming Winter Exemplification - REMINDER Brother Knights - The
next 4th Degree Winter Exemplification is scheduled for February
24th. All those interested in advancing to this level please let
me know no later than the January Business Meeting so the paperwork can
be filled out and processed timely. Thank
you for prayerfully considering taking this next step to obtaining the
title of Sir Knight and continuing in your service to the community and

Thanks! Thank
you to the brother Knights that were able to assist with Wednesday's
Council Basketball Free Throw Competition and Saturday's District
Competition as well. Once again our very own youth, Gemma
Lespreance is going on to the Diocesan level and hopefully on to State
this year too. Way to go Gemma - we are rooting for you (far left
in picture below).  In
addition - THANKS goes out to the Brother Knights and their families
that represented the KofC in this weekend's Lone Rose Ceremony in
remembrance of the infamous Supreme Court ruling of Roe v Wade. And last but not least thanks to those that helped out with Super Bowl BBQ pre-sale orders after all masses this weekend too! |
Super Bowl BBQ - REMINDER Brothers, We
will be taking pre-sale orders for Angus Briskets (whole and 1/2) until
Sunday evening, January 28th, 7 pm. We are also taking pre-orders
for our regular BBQ items for those that want to ensure we will have
their Super Bowl Sunday meal items available. If you hear of
anyone wanting to place an order please refer them to Brother Greg
Nemec or myself. We will need a lot of help with the Super Bowl
cook the weekend of February 3rd and 4th and will appreciate any and all
assistance available. If
you are able to assist with pre-orders this final weekend please let me

Upcoming Events - REMINDER Brothers, Lent is fast approaching which brings with it the Mardi Gras Pancake Cook, weekly Fish Frys and our 40 Cans for Lent Food Drive.
Please let me know if interested in co-chairing a event. As you
know - the Fish Fry is our number one fundraiser of the year and takes
many hands to ensure its success. With a few years now under our
belt the ordering process and handling of product should be much more

Upcoming Meetings - REMINDER Brothers, Our
Sacred Heart Lenten Mission is scheduled for Monday through Wednesday,
February 26th - 28th. During this time Father Joseph has asked no
meetings be held so all can attend the mission. Please note that
our 4th Tuesday KC Business Meeting, normally held 2/27, will be moved
to the 3rd Tuesday in February, 2/20. The 2nd Tuesday Mardi Gras
Pancake Cook on 2/13 will be considered our Council/ Social Meeting. Thanks, GK |

Rally for Life in Austin - 8:15 am, Cardinal DiNardo celebrates Mass at
St. Vincent de Paul Church, buses then depart for Austin, March and
Rally begins at 1:00 pm. $25 per person, includes bus ride and lunch -
Register at: https://archgh.cvent.com/TexasRallyforLife2018. Buses also depart from various Houston Parish locations. Or carpool with others to the Rally and March.
