everyone had a great Spring Break week. I know we had a lot going
on in the Council this past week and certainly appreciate everyone's
help wherever you were able to lend a hand. Thanks to all the
brother Knights that assisted with last week's Fish Fry and those able
to attend this weekend's Rosary, Mass and Breakfast. Our speaker
from Catholic Charities was so informative and we are hoping to get more
involved assisting where we can. Hearing how their Food Pantry
and Warehouse runs was very interesting and I can tell you they
certainly appreciate the food they've received from our 40
Cans for Lent Food Drive. Such a worthy cause supporting our
seniors. And I'd be remiss not to thank the brother Knights (and
wives) able to participate in Saturday's Highway Clean-up. Thank
you all! |
KofC Insurance BENEFITS OF YOUR KC MEMBERSHIP As part of Our Council's March Social Meeting at 7:00pm this Tuesday in the CCE building, we will have a presentation of the Fraternal Benefits available to you as a member of the Knights of Columbus. Our new Field Agent Marty Gibula and General Agent Tom Supac will be presenting an overview of the Benefits of Your KC Membership. This will be an open meeting and you are encouraged to bring your wife so you can both learn of the benefits. It was Venerable Father Michael J. McGivney's wish when he started the Knights of Columbus , "To render Financial Aid to its members and the beneficiaries of its members.". Today's Knights of Columbus members have the opportunity to do that and more. "Refreshments will be served and a drawing held for door prizes." If

Sacred Heart Parish Work Day Come
help make the campus shine for Palm Sunday and Easter. Saturday,
April 1st, 8 am to 2 pm. Bring gardening tools, gloves and power
washers. Lunch will provided. Work for an hour or work all
day long! Many hands make easy work, so invite your family and
friends. |
1st Degree Exemplification Brother Knights - We
have seven candidates that we have confirmed will be attending tomorrow
night's (3/20) 1st Degree Exemplification at the St. Thomas Aquinas KC
Hall at 12627 West Bellfort in Sugar Land at 7:30 pm. All
members are encouraged to show their support, along with Fr. Michael,
in attending this ceremony. Sacred Heart's very own Deacon Thomas
Aquinas and others will be welcomed into the 1st Order of the KofC.
Anyone wanting to carpool should meet at the Sacred Heart parking lot at 6:30pm or you can meet us at the KC Hall at 7:15pm. Any questions give GK a call, 832-755-8239. Look forward to seeing you there. |
