Special Guest - Business Mtg - Fr Cliff Hennings Received
a request from Brother Karl Hennings that Fr Cliff Hennings would like
to share a meal with us tomorrow, 6/28 and give a short talk to all in
attendance. Since Fr Cliff is not a Knight, so he cannot stay for
the official meeting but he is certainly welcome to share meal and

Fr Michael is Officially a Knight Brother
Knights - Fr. Michael Nguyen along with 3 new members (Russ Thomas,
Ryan Thomas, and Javier Salazar) attended the 1st Degree Exemplification
at St Theresa's last Monday (6/20). Thanks to the (6) Brother
Knights from Council 7445 (Marty Gibula, Kevin Eaves, Art Hausler, Ray
Camel, DGK David Hobson, and GK Howard Harbes) who attended the
exemplification to show your support for these new Knights. |
Fortnight for Freedom Dear Brother Knights,Throughout the week, the Catholic Church in the United States will continue to celebrate the Fortnight for Freedom - a two-week period from June 21 to July 4 that considers in a particular way our First Amendment Right to Religious Freedom. The effort is being led by our Supreme Chaplain, Archbishop William Lori of Baltimore, in his role as chairman of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' (USCCB) Ad Hoc Committee for Religious Liberty. The following resources may help you and your family in thinking more about this important issue: 1. The USCCB's Fortnight for Freedom website 2. The USCCB's recently produced video on Dignitatis Humanae, the Second Vatican Council's document on religious freedom. Correction - COUNCIL BBQ COOK FOR JULY IS ON At
the Officers' Meeting last Tuesday, it was determined that the Council
could not afford to have another "cancellation" of a Council Monthly BBQ
Cook since the June Cook was cancelled due to the County
Flooding. We have, however; moved the cook out to July 10th -
so as to not interfere with the 4th of July Holiday weekend.
