Thanks for your Service Thanks
to all who participated in Sacred Heart Catholic Church's 1st Annual
Feast of Corpus Christi Procession. Lots of Brother Knights
participated in the planning of the event and making it happen.
Sorry I cannot list them all - but they were everywhere. Thanks to
all for your efforts and support. Council Brother Sir Knights spotted in Social or Full Regalia participating in the procession and Vigil Mass were: PGK/FN Marty Gibula, PFN Larry Stryk, Commander/PFN/PGK Ken Kendricks, Mark Stryk, Kevin Eaves, Art Hausler, Raul DeLeon, Chris Haskins, Comander/DGK David Hobson, John Burkett, Danny Walthall, and me. Brother Sir Knights from other councils in in Full Regalia were Louis Sausedo and Commander Ken Ortiz. If you see them, thank them for the support. |
Franciscan Brother Cliff Hennings' Ordination One
of our own Parishioners, Franciscan Brother Cliff Hennings, will be
Ordained into the Priesthood on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Saint Clement
Catholic Church (4536 Vine Street; Cincinnati, Ohio) at 10:00AM.
Br. Cliff's 1st Mass will be celebrated on June 12, 2016 at St Monica-St
George also in Cincinnati at 10:30AM. Br. Cliff is a son of
Brother Knight Karl and Susan Hennings.For
us stay-cationers, Br. Cliff will celebrate Mass at Sacred Heart in
Richmond at the 11:30AM Mass on June 19th, Father's Day. A
reception will follow. Check the church bulletin for details. |
Service Opportunities Tue, May 31st - Barbara Gritczek Yard Cleanup - CANCELLED -
This service project has been cancelled. Lead Brother Larry Stryk
was rear ended and has to work on getting his only wheels back on the
road. Please stay tuned for a reschedule date. Fri, Jun 3rd - Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus - Mass 7:00PM Come to the 7:00PM Mass in the church to celebrate the Feast Day for our Parish's name sakeSacred Heart of Jesus. Following the mass there will be an Ice Cream Social on the Plaza - ALL ARE WELCOME. Sat/Sun, Jun 4th & 5th - Council BBQ Prep and Cook - Set time on your calendar for assisting with the BBQ cook - get with Greg Nemec (713-416-2983 or greg@southwesttexas.com) to see where and when he needs help. If you don't BBQ, how about assisting with sales after Sunday morning masses. Thanks for any assistance you can offer.
