40 Cans for Lent - Week 1
The support for Week 1 of 40 Cans for Lent was very impressive.  Brother Karl and I drug the trailer over to Helping Hands this morning and per Helping Hands the Parish donated 699 pounds of stuff.   Helping hands was impressed at the support and were blown away when we indicated there were 5-6 more weeks of support coming in this program.  Thanks to all who supported the call this weekend and if you forgot or didn't make it by the store (my excuse), you still have a chance tosupport and continue supportingthru Lent.
Call Brother Karl Henning (832-729-7983) if you can assist in the collection process at Sat Vigil or 1 or more of the 4 Sunday masses.

Lenten Fish Fry #1
Thanks for all the support from Brother Knights and their wives at the Lenten Fish Fry on Fri, Feb 12th.  Outstanding support and a lot of fraternity and hard work was shown by all present. Knights signing in were: DGK David Hobson and wife April (Chairpersons),  Chris Haskins, wife Nan, and daughter Lauren, John and Pauline Burkett, Allen and Sue Hartmann, PDGK Raul DeLeon, PGK Marty Gibula, Elliot Jones, Frank Crouch, Vince Maninno and wife Naomi, Roy Burgess, Mark Stryk and wife Debbie, Larry Stryk and daughter Jill, Gerry Veazey, Greg Nemec, Larry Junek and wife, FS Arthur Hausler and wife Jane, and GK Howard Harbes, wife Patty and granddaughter Crista Smith.  Sorry if you were omitted but my memory is bad - sign in to be included.  Hope top see all the above and more on Friday, Feb 19th.  Note that there was considerable assistance from ACTS Brothers and Sisters that are not included on this list.  ALL HELP IS APPRECIATED - please consider joining the community effort for Council 7445 and Sacred Heart ACTS.
Mardi Gras Pancake Supper
Another very successful KC and Parish event on Fat Tuesday. A great amount of community sharing was had and lots of pancakes, sausage, and sliced peaches were shared with the parish.  Knights that I caught serving were Butch Stoeltje, John Burkett, Kevin Eaves, Allen Hartmann, Rickey Constantine, George Boyum, Michael Spiechj, Art Hausler, karl Hennings, Jerry Veasey, Ray Camel, Mike Weber, and Larry Stryk.  There were likely others that I did not catch but all of your help was greatly appreciated.
THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR UNSELFISH SUPPORT OF THE COUNCIL AND PARISH.
