2016 Council Budget Vote - UPDATE
The 2016 Council Budget was approved by all present at the Council Business October 27th.  Thanks to the Meeting on attendees and for the support with your vote.  Now we need Brother Knights to support the fundraising programs so we can follow thru with our programs
Thanks for your Service
Sat, Oct 31st - Sacred Heart Parish Workday - Somewhere between 45 and 50 Parisioners availed their skills on Sat Morning between and during rain showers to spruce up the inside and outside of Sacred Heart Church, Chapel, CCE Bldg, Rectory, and Church grounds. A deep clean was performed on the church. Trees were trimmed, fences were replaced while others fences were torn down, and a whole lot of pressure washing took place.  Looked like a bunch of ants dodging raindrops, but the work accomplished was amazing.  Sad thing is it appeared we had more ladies willing to work than men but they shied from no task.  Thanks to all who pitched in for the ParishHope to see you at the next PARISH work day opportunity - maybe at the Christmas tree Decorating.

Sat/Sun, Oct 31/Nov 1- KC BBQ Cook - Lead by SK Brother Greg Nemec (who assisted until the end of the sales and clean up - about 1:30), the Cook went off without a hitch.  Awesome Ribs were cooked by Brothers Art Hausler and Larry Stryk (who tore down and replaced fences in the morning). Thanks to the cook team made up of Brothers Tony Trevino, Raul DeLeon, Michael Cutbirth, and Juan Robles for their outstanding work. DGK Brother David Hobson (tree trimming on Sat AM also) assisted Brothers Greg and Tony with the meat seasoning on Saturday and helped with sales as time allowed.  Brothers Jerry VanCastern and  Larry Stryk were a stable factors at the sales table with assistance from Andy Oldnixon after the 2 early masses and Brother Art Hausler coming in to offer relief after the 11:15 Mass. Thanks to all for your assistance and please forgive me (or slap me on the side of the head) if I did not give you recognition for your help.  All was greatly appreciated

Eucharistic Adoration
Sacred Heart Chapel
Please take time to visit with our Lord in Adoration between the hours of 3:00PM and 10:00PM on Wednesdays in the Chapel.   The adoration will start at 3:00PM with the Devine Mercy Chaplet.  All are invited and any time spent will offer graces and blessings for you, your family, Sacred Heart Church, and the Holy Catholic Church.  At the close of the Adoration time, the Devine Mercy Chaplet is once more recited along with a benediction that is supported by Fathers Michael and/or Thomas.

Please consider committing to a specific time slot every week.  There are forms at the back of the Church and Chapel to sign up.  A committed time is not a requirement to attend Eucharistic Adoration.
Pro Life Activities
Pro-Life Ace Wings - Viewing the movie "Blood Money" (80 minutes) will serve as three of the five event requirements. This is a very informative documentary involving women having had abortions and others previously involved in the abortion industry who are now Pro-Life.
