Council BBQ Cook Update

Thanks to all who supported with time and purchases for the BBQ Cook on the 11th and 12th.   On Saturday, Brother Larry Stryk picked up the meat from Kroger and was assisted by Tony Trevino, DGK David Hobson, and the GK with seasoning and cleaning up the FLC kitchen after the seasoning.  Brother Larry and the GK started the ribs cooking and was joined by Brother Marty Gibula and Brother Art Hausler (after his store closed) to finish up on the rib cooking.

On Sunday the cook team was made up of Brothers Tony Trevino (the bean cooker), PDGK Raul Deleon, Co Cook Lead Greg Nemec,Juan Robles, Michael Cutbirth, and Alfred Cortez.  Sales team support came from Brothers Andy Oldnixon, Michael Spiech, Marty Gibula, Ray Camel, Larry Stryk, Art Hausler, and the Grand Knight.

ALL HELP WAS SINCERELY APPRECIATED AND THANKS ALSO IF YOU ASSISTED BY PURCHASING SOME OF THE PRODUCT.  Hope I did not forget anyone, Brother Tony put together a list for me but I put it some place that I can not find today.  My sincere apologies if you assisted and did not get acknowledged.

Half a day to show your support of men who gave part of their lives to protect our freedoms is a small price to pay.  We will leave Sacred Heart at about 7-7:15AM to car pool to the Veterans Hospital in the Houston Medical Center and should be back in the Sacred Heart parking lot by 12:00noon

Make room on your calendar for some or all of these dates on your calendar.   Our Veterans deserve you to give back to them for the service to us and our country.
