Friday June 12th is the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus - Sacred Heart Church will have a 7:00 PM Mass with Plaza dedication and BBQ Dinner to follow

June KC BBQ Cook is June 14th with meat prep on Sat June 13th.  Brother Raul Martinez is having rotator cup surgery on Friday June 5th.  Brother David Hobson is planning to head this cook as Raul will be in recovery mode and Co BBQ Lead Greg Nemec has family commits.   Please plan to support your Council and your Brother Knights by helping with this event.

Adopt a Highway for 2Q will be on June 20th - due to weather cancellation in May.  We will meet at the Shell Station at the corner of FMs 359 & 723.  What a great way to work up an appetite for the June 21st Father's Day meal.  Hope to see you out on the road.

All Things Girl is being held in the CCE Building on June 22nd thru the 26th and the Council June Business Meeting on June 23rd will be held in the FLC Gym.  After this Business meeting all 2015-16 officers are needed to take about 30 minutes to do a practice run on the Installation Cross and process. LET'S LOOK LIKE WE ARE SERIOUS ABOUT OUR POSITIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN FRONT OF OUR FAMILIES thru our dress and actions on Saturday night.

Installation of Officers will take place on June 27th in the FLC Gym.  Dress at the Installation on Sat for officers to be installed is slacks, dress shirt and tie as a minimum (or a suit) with dress shoes.  ALL look nice as action is being taken to get a professional photographer to take a group and individual photos of the event.  The Council will provide the meat for the meal with sides and deserts being provided by the attending Knights.  ALL Knight Families are encouraged to attend the installation even if you are no an elected officer.  Fathers Joe and Greg as well as all Sacred Heart Deacons (all are Knights in the Council) have been requested to attend this event.  Hope to see all of you there as well.

VA HOSPITAL VET Visit - Serve those who have served their country by visiting with the veterans that are hospitalized in the VA Hospital in Houston.   We will meet at Sacred Heart Church at 7:00 AM and carpool in to Houston.   Will provide more info next week.

Please look at your calendar and please schedule family and/or your time to support the Parish and Council events.
