GRAND KNIGHT’S MESSAGE

"See what love the Father has bestowed on us that we may be called the children of God.  Yet so we are.  The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him.  Beloved, we are God's children now; what we shall be has not yet been revealed.  We do know that when it is revealed we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.  Everyone who has this hope based on Him makes himself pure, as He is pure."
1 John 3: 1-3

Dear Brothers,

Officer installation is now a memory and the work for this fraternal year is off and running.

The summer is almost over for our children as the Back-to School ads flourish in the Sunday paper.

What part will you play in the history of Council 7445 this year?  Will you be a card
carrying member or will you get in the game?  A planning meeting was held in lieu of the officers' meeting and there are many activities for the coming year.  I ask you to pick the 2 or 3 you wish to participate in.  Call Andy Bockholt, our Program Director, for a list and GET IN THE GAME.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL FIRST DEGREE MEMBERS: A major degree will be held at Notre Dame Council #7036 at 7720 Boone Rd on Saturday, August 14, 1999.  Be at our Council meeting August 10, for details or call the Grand Knight.

Enjoy the remainder of your summer.  Remember to tell your family you love them and tell your wife "I love you" 3-4 times a day minimum.  After all, she was smart enough to say "Yes" when you popped the question:)

Live life to the fullest,
Michael
